FRP (fiberglass-reinforced polymer—commonly referred to as fiberglass) is an ideal choice for the cellular industry. Nearly invisible to cellular emissions and radio frequencies, FRP has been used extensively for applications ranging from architectural and rooftop screening to entire structures—anywhere that electro-magnetic (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI) is a concern.
We use FRP structures to hide telecom equipment and antenna on rooftops and elevated structures elegantly. FRP's lightweight features make it an ideal solution for virtually all rooftop telecommunication structures, for prices very comparable—if not better—to galvanized steel or aluminum. They provide excellent resistance against UV and weathering while conforming to ASTM standards. In addition to rooftop screening, FRP structures can be placed anywhere from the top of skyscrapers to trellises and architectural treatments on the sides of buildings.
